United Family Healthcare (UFH) is a private hospital and clinic network in China, and this page collects what UFH itself publishes in English about its locations, contact lines and insurance billing. It is a plain profile. It does not rate UFH, compare it with other providers or recommend it.
What UFH says it is
UFH describes itself as an international hospital and clinic network that provides private, premium healthcare. Its story page says it has hospitals and clinics in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Qingdao and Bo'ao.
The page for its International Medical Service says UFH was founded in 1997. The same page says the medical network has 11 hospitals and 24 clinics in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities. That page also says the network serves 1 million+ patients a year, including 100k+ international patients.
That page names New Frontier Group as the group that oversees the operation of all its medical businesses in China.

Where UFH lists its facilities
The location menu on the UFH English homepage groups facilities under seven headings: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
- Beijing. The menu names Beijing United Family Hospital, Beijing United Family Hospital of Integrative Medicine, United Family Women's & Children's Hospital, Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital and United Family New Hope Oncology Center. It also names the Liangma, Tianzhu and Wudaokou clinics, and it links a Tianchen clinic page shown as a web address.
- Shanghai. The menu names Shanghai United Family Hospital, Shanghai United Family Pudong Hospital and a Jing'an campus listed under its Chinese name. It also names the Fengshang, Quankou and Xintiandi clinics.
- Guangzhou, Tianjin and Qingdao. The menu names Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Tianjin United Family Hospital and Qingdao United Family Hospital.
- Shenzhen. The menu names Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital.

Contact lines UFH publishes
The UFH homepage shows a line labelled 24hr Service Center, 4008-919191, and an email address, 4008919191@ufh.com.cn. A line on the homepage says people can follow UFH on WeChat to gain valuable medical insights, make an appointment and more.
The International Medical Service page lists its own email address, ims@ufh.com.cn. Its service list names remote second opinion, overseas treatment support, global innovative drugs and clinical trials, overseas physical health check-ups, global health membership and inbound medical support.

How UFH describes insurance and payment
The page on solutions for individuals and families says UFH accepts health plans offered by most major insurance carriers. It says the list of insurance providers is updated frequently and tells people to call the 24-hour Service Center if their insurer is not listed.
The page links separate direct billing lists for Beijing United Family Hospital, Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital, Shanghai United Family Hospital, Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Tianjin United Family Hospital and Qingdao United Family Hospital.
On how billing works, the page says UFH bills the insurance provider for each visit and the patient covers the co-payment or deductible. It says the amount owed depends on the specific health plan. It says UFH accepts only primary insurance coverage for direct billing.
For people who pay themselves, the page says UFH accepts checks, debit cards and credit cards. It also links self-pay packages and promotions for each of seven named hospitals.
The page also describes a plan called Unity Health Plan, offered with Fosun United Health Insurance Co., Ltd. It lists a guaranteed annual coverage of RMB 6 million and gives 4006117777 as the Fosun Unity Health Insurance service center line. This page does not assess the plan.
Staff and accreditation as UFH reports them
The medical expertise page lists 600+ full-time physicians, 1000+ part-time physicians, physicians from 25 countries and regions, and coverage of 37 specialties.
The same page has a timeline headed International Accreditation. It says Beijing United Family Hospital facilities were first accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) in 2005, and that Shanghai United Family Hospital facilities first received JCI accreditation in 2008. Its last entry says UFH facilities in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Qingdao and Guangzhou received JCI accreditation or re-accreditation in 2021.
